				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of my favorite volunteer activities in the city is walking dogs, usually pitbulls, for the <a href="http://www.barcshelter.org/">Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition</a> in Williamsburg. <p>It was hard to tell if this street foosball setup was the French poking fun at themselves for their <a href="http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Europe/2010/0622/France-s-World-Cup-soccer-woes-rock-French-society">horrible, hilarious showing at the World Cup</a>. Or if that&#8217;s really how their team trains for the World Cup.</p>

<p>
If I lived equidistant between Coney Island and Central Park, I don&#8217;t know if I could decide between the two where to put the towel. I was so impressed with how well kept Coney was that I told to my friend that it had been overly maligned by my friends, but I guess it <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/18/nyregion/18coney.html">helps to come after a massive renovation of the area</a>.</p>
