I’ve never written something that has been seen, but certainly not read, but quite so many people.

There are plenty of extreme-novice users with very limited exposure to the Web, some of whose exposure is limited mostly to Facebook and use it as a launching point to other things. Incidentally there is a subset of users who assume the way to access FB is done by typing in “Facebook” into ‘Google’, they don’t know any better and often don’t understand enough to try alternate methods of access.

Hopefully we can educate a few people along the way and hope that the actual idiots weed themselves out of the mix when they throw their monitors out the window (i.e. an online version of survival of the fittest).
